This site is dedicated solely to the mid 70's pub rock group 'The 101'ers.' Almost every site out there with info about The 101'ers re-uses the same old bit of text-if you believe what they write, Joe Strummer left the band after seeing the Sex Pistols support them. This isn't true, The 101'ers would play a further 19 times. I've tried to go for something a bit different, drawing on memorabilia and articles I've collected, whilst also adding info from people who saw the band play. |

Updates: 09/12/07-Well I've finally updated my website, the discography section has been updated with info on Five Star Rock 'n' Roll, a little information on drummer Antonio Narvaez has been added in About The 101'ers, and also I've added a poster for the gig at The Central School of Art & Design in London on 17th December 1975, this poster can be found in the Gig Dates/Posters/Ads/Press section. I've added a flyer for the withdrawn 5 Star Rock 'N' Roll album (thanks Phil), a Gig Ad for the Amsterdam Paradiso gig (thanks Jeroen), and also info on a Nashville Rooms gig with the Sex Pistols which probably didn't take place (in the unconfirmed gigs section at the top of the Gig Dates/Posters/Ads/Press page) 07/02/07-I've added 3 more gig Ads to the Gig Dates/Posters/Ads/Press section. I've got quite a few but I'm always looking for more. I also have 7 new badges (as well as those listed below), my camera has broken so I don't have a picture, they look like the logo above. Thanks ===== 19/12/06-I've been pretty busy lately, when I get a spare few hours after Christmas I'll be uploading a lot of stuff-Numerous articles from 1981 (sent in by Richard Dudanski), more Gig Ads, a flyer for the withdrawn '5 Star Rock N Roll.' In addition I hope to be able to report on a new live 101'ers tape from 1975, a new 101'ers studio tape, and an article on the bands gig in Amsterdam 1976. Also, a friend has created a 101'ers badge which I will be selling in the new year, all profits to Strummerville. More detals later. A few people have mentioned it's cut off towards the right hand side, I'm trying to sort it as best I can, but any help would be appreciated. I will also be working on a page about the Tithe Farm House, Harrow. So if anyone has any info about this venue please get in touch. Finally, as I get more and more info/memorabilia about/from various venues, each venue will get it's own page and so The Other Venues page will close. Not yet though! Thanks 14/11/06-Quick update, I've formatted the first 3 pages so that you should all be able to view them, the rest will be sorted soon. The gigs/posters/ads section will be put into a table with the actual scans available by clicking on a link, because I think with so much stuff being uploaded it's starting to take a while to load. Finally, I'll be getting rid of the support/supporting section and putting the info into another page, also the discography section has been slightly updated. I will also be working on the Hope and nchor page, and will be adding a new section on The Windsor Castle so if anyone has any info, or has been to either of these venues and would like to contribute please get in touch.
