The 101'ers

Recordings

There is only one full length live recording of a 101'ers gig circulating, the gig took place at Derby Cleopatras on December 20th 1975.
As far as I can make out this recording comes from two sources-Both sources have songs missing, however it is possible to obtain a copy where the two sources are combined to create a full recording.

In addition, there are 5 songs circulating from a gig the band played at The Roundhouse, on April 18th 1976

Finally, the excellent  Elgin Avenue Breakdown: Reissued has a number of live songs from venues such as Wandsworth Prison, Camberwell Arts Centre and The Cellar Bar, Bracknell. For more information on all these recordings refer to the Discography section

Are there any more recordings? Apparently the bands gig at Ronnie Scotts on the 8th July 1975 was broadcast live by Radio Concorde. Did anyone tape it? Who knows-if you have any live recordings not on this list please get in touch.

Update: In November/December of last year I found someone who has a full recording of The 101'ers at the Nashville Rooms 4th November 1975. More details soon.

Footage

In the Clash documentary 'Westway to the World' a brief clip of The 101'ers playing at The Elgin can be seen. Apparently this footage was shot by former 101'ers manager John 'Boogie' Tiberi who has more silent footage of The 101'ers playing at both The Elgin and in Amsterdam.
I am led to believe this footage will feature in the upcoming Joe Strummer documentary by Julien Temple.
